Wow. That took me by surprise.
I was expecting a cliche and low quality sci-fi film, but wow, I was wrong. Immortal is a surprisingly deep and well-written stunner, with brilliant artistic direction from Enki Bilal (who also wrote the film). The story is a bit incoherent at times, but I couldn't help but be sucked into it. This is really what the film "Aeon Flux" tried and failed to be.
