Review of I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With (2006) by Jim N — 05 Oct 2007
It's funny, at least at the start. Jeff Garlin's facial expressions are priceless. But the ending just sort of fizzles out. Sarah Silverman's character starts out funny, but ends up just being boring and predictable. Or maybe what I should say is, somewhere along the line Garlin decides to switch from making yet-another-running-fat-guy-joke movie to actually saying something quite serious about himself, and the result is tragic.
Also, the movie makes a lot more sense if you've actually seen Ernest Borgnine's performance in "Marty.".
