It made me so sad to see negative reviews. I was so moved by this film, and was alternating between crying and laughing the whole way through. I think it's extremely badass that a female comedian is nailing it in every way and speaking the truth, celebrating beauty in every form.
I felt EMPOWERED by this film. I'm grateful to Amy Schumer for having the ovaries to speak out against the incessant message we get on a daily basis that we have to be smaller, skinner, quieter, younger, to be accepted and successful.
I love you Amy. Keep shining your glorious light.
