Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Rachel R — 15 Feb 2008
I have always been interested in this story, especially since I'm a huge Superman fan, and this movie presented it very well.
I thought Affleck did a great job and I liked how the movie shows the not-so-great side of being known as Superman.
Like Zodiac, you know this won't have a 100% conclusive ending due to the fact that the crime hasn't been solved to this day, but it does give a little closure. Enough to satisfy me anyway.
If you want great acting and an interesting noir-style storyline, this is where you want to be.
