Forget the overrated, oscar laden sprawl of The Deer Hunter - This is art. Cimino sank a studio and spat his career away with this beautiful, epic western. Challenging in the extreme - seek out the full uncut version and if you have more then one brain cell to call your own you will be rewarded.
Simply magnificent stuff.
