Review of Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005) by Sean R — 29 Sep 2009
They say that men who do great things make it in history are the heroâ??s. In this case, it is the people who report history are the heroâ??s. With the cast, such as George Clooney, David Strathairn, Jeff Daniels, and the rest of the cast, brings us how scared we were in the 1950s during the time when McCarthy took office. It was these reporters that took the dare to come out and stand up to someone that others were too afraid to do.
Clooney, not only acted but also directed, capture this film to open our eyes what it takes for a reported to bring out what is news, and what needs to be said. Very well researched to get the detail down to the â??Tâ?? of what the studio had looked like. With Dianne Reeves, as the jazz singer to help move the story along, this film is a note in film history to help us remember that we should never live in fear for our freedom.
