Review of Golden Door (2006) by R N — 08 Aug 2007
A beautiful but slightly sanitised story of a family of Italians that decide to emigrate to the New World. It's warm and human and has some lovely sequences and images, but although I was uplifted and rated it 'excellent' at the end, it's probably not a movie I would buy on DVD or recommend to everyone I know.
Nonetheless I think it will probably do very well for itself.
