Review of Gangs of New York (2002) by Ethan H — 11 Apr 2012
This movie is a perfect example of the greatness in Daniel Day Lewis' acting ability which seemed to carry the movie almost the entire way. However, even if he wasn't in this movie it still would of succeeded because of the near-perfect directing, writing, cinematography, and acting.
This movie succeeds in adding multiple stories of American history that are rarely told.
