Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (2016) by Alex W — 28 Feb 2016

Just watch it...Not as bad as I though, but the rhythm was either too slow or too fast. It was a bit all over the place. The english is with Chinese accent. It distracted me a couple of times but otherwise it was acceptable.

I fear however that the dialogues numbers and length were dump down in this movie. As for the fighting, maybe one or two fights are noteworthy, and it's a let down in terms of intensity and scale that the previous film had.

I though the combat was way better in the first because the were also visually intriguing. The music is quite generic, you do get the original themes but somehow the score doesn't accentuate the fighting that much.

..I give it a 6.5/10.
