Review of Clockers (1995) by Gordon B — 03 Jul 2007

Deeper than "Boyz in the Hood" and more intricate than "Mystic River", Clockers did not see its inner city setting as a opportunity for socioeconomic preaching, but as a stage where the established roles of family, law enforcement, and community and subverted complicated, and tested, until all its characters remained changed forever.
