Review of China O'Brien (1990) by Greg M — 30 Jun 2008
Bad plot, acting and directing should have spelled the end of this movie. Rothrock's speedy acrobatic style is slowed down so the fat redneck thugs can keep up, only to get constantly pummeled by kicks and punches.
What redeems the movie is co-stars Richard Norton and Keith Cooke. When they're given a chance to fight, they put on more of a show than Rothrock. The action is constant and while none of the bad guys put up much if any fight at all, it's decent entertainment.
