Directed to absolute perfection, Children of Men sees Alfonso Cuarón showcase himself as one of cinema's most commited directors. White-knuckle action set-pieces filmed with extensive long takes as well as overall masterful production make Children of Men incredible, but what really sells the film is it's themes and characters.
