Review of Children of Men (2006) by Djulius G — 19 Apr 2018
One of my all time favorites! Clive Owen plays an angel walking the earth, not knowing he is an angel but thinking he's a failed man, broken by the death of his son. a Great metaphor for how Americans treat Mexicans, Children of men shows a dystopian society not much unlike one in which humanity is headed if things stay as they are.
a lot of hidden secrets to human behavior in the film which will, gone un-noticed, lead the viewer to think the film is missing something; which it is not. Great acting and high caliber actors make this film a true gem for our current society and a must watch for every sociology classroom.
