Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Alaa E — 30 Nov 2010
A gentle, poignant indie dramedy (from the pen of Rickie Gervais and Stephen Merchant) about a trio of disenchanted teenagers coming of age in the UK during the early 70's. It trades on the desire of many teens to 'escape' their surroundings and experience the bigger world around them and the methods by which they achieve it.
I really wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Believable script, some great acting and a well groovy soundtrack.
