Dubbed "the gay cowboy movie" by many, Ang Lee has instead crafted a subtle, grand, and ultimately tragic love story for the ages. With subdued but inspired performances (particularly by the late Heath Ledger), beautiful cinematography and a haunting musical score, this film is not to be missed.
