A British neo-noir styled gangster film that tries very hard to be great but it never quite reaches it full potential by its conclusion. It has captivating plot, good cast (buoyed by Helen Mirren), interesting backdrop of 60s Brighton with Mods versus Rockers but the gangs all seem very small time to seem convincing.
Good film but not memorable.
