Review of Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) by Roberto B — 03 Mar 2013
I remember watching this as a kid. In 2000 I was 9 years old and hear I'm watching it again in 2013. As soon as I turned on the tv and saw Elwood and company perform respect with aretha franklin it made me go in this bubble. A bubble of joy, enthusiasm and wanting me to stomp my feet on happyness. It still gave me that infectious joy.
Elwood performs his role really well and has sarcastic and personality, you can see that the script was well constructed and had a visually sufficient story to it. Obviously t wasn't as great as the first one but which sequel is. Every single is just meer journey to try and mimic what we felt in the first film. And this film did it very well.
