Review of Best F(r)iends: Volume 1 (2017) by Shay M — 31 May 2018
I enjoyed this far more than The Disaster Artist (the film, not the book). I thought the most fascinating part of Greg's autobiography was his relationship which Tommy, which was more complicated than what one would assume if they just saw the Disaster Artist movie.
Greg makes fun of Tommy but he does so with love. He credits Tommy for his success in life and acknowledges that he has provided him with support and confidence throughout their 20+ years of friendship, even though he has been a source of frustration as well.
I think this movie did a much better job showing their friendship as well as their differences.
