Another great Mike Leigh movie. It's sort of a companion piece to Happy Go Lucky in that they are both meditations on happiness. Some might find it slow moving and plotless, but Leigh rejects a lot of cinematic conventions to more effectively capture the rhythms of life.
Wonderful performances, esp. Leslie Manville.
