Disguised as sci-fi, A.I. tells the heartbreaking story of a neglected child who desperately craves love from a parent whose absence the child can never understand. The child spends an eternity trying to become lovable, pleading to know why the love hasn't come, and wishing he could change something inside himself so the sadness will finally vanish.
