Review of A World Without Thieves (2004) by Laura F — 06 Jun 2007
The camera was able to capture the characters' flashy fighting techniques demonstrating class and reverence in a point blanc manner. The plot is moving and it contains great Chinese aphorism worth pondering.
What is also captured are the greater landscapes of China you don't find in just any Asian film. Another great thing is, as many know, the budget of Asian films is nowhere nearly as extravagant compared to the worth of a US made film.
