Lucien Baroux (born Lucien Barou) , born September 21, 1888 in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and died on 21 may 1968 at Hossegor (Landes), is a French actor.
He started out as a stage manager in theatre and makes the figuration in many silent films of the 1910s. It takes part in the First world War and, after the end of it, he resumed his activities as stage manager, but launching a great career as an actor in both the theatre and the cinema, replacing on short notice an actor failed in the part Mouse hotel. Then it occurs among others at the Theatre Michel, the Bouffes-Parisiens (for seven years). He took part in the tours Karsenty for The School women along with Pierre Dux and Huguette Hue. With a lot of humour and fantasy, it occurs in many films and operettas : All for the love, The Mascot, The sisters Hortensia, Behind the facade. To the cinema more than 80 roles until 1962 for The Devil and the Ten Commandments, by Julien Duvivier, where he made a tandem scenic with Michel Simon.
