Director Biography

Julien Duvivier (8 October 1896, Lille – 29 October 1967, Paris) was a French film director. He was prominent in French cinema in the years 1930-1960. Amongst his most original films, chiefly notable are La Bandera, Pépé le Moko, Panic, now is the time of the assassins and Marianne de ma jeunesse.

Julien Duvivier has directed films starring Jean Gabin, Marcel Dalio, Gaston Modot and Charles Granval.
