The ultimaqte siege movie - the film that made Caine a star and what was probably Stanley Baker's finest movie. It pointed out the nobility of the Zulu's and the staunchness of the defenders. Wonderful performances and a scene to add to the pantheon of great movie sequences - the first charge and challenge of the Zulus - filmed at knee height - like a human steam locomotive at full speed - stunning!
