Review of Zulu (1964) by Stephen P — 25 Jun 2009
Thoroughly enjoyed this film with its very young and easy-on-the-eyes Michael Caine (trying to not sound Cockney ;)). Beautiful African landscape and some amazing Zulu singing throughout. Despite some corny "Argh! I've been shot/stabbed!" (with minimal blood) moments, I fell into the story.
You can definitely see its influence on modern cinematic battle scenes like Lord of the Rings, 300, etc.
