Review of Zulu (1964) by Arnanda C — 11 Aug 2009
Classic. One of may favorite childhood war flix.
1,400 british were wiped out at their camp at Isandlwana. The worst ever defeat of a british army at the hands of a native force.
There were several dozen mistakes in the film, like improper uniforms of the day, improper naming of the regiment, improper dates for comissions, improper guns used at the time.
However, it's a great film, along with the message.
