Review of Zozo (2005) by Nawara S — 27 Mar 2009
Its a spotlight on what a war could do to a CHILD.
I think its important to make movies like this one , cause the western audience needs to re-think over the backgrounds of the immigrants before they judge them!
The reason that this movie got a such success at least on Scandinavia, is that no one with Josef fares`s Background, made it before!
Zozo is maybe not that perfect. but I think its very clever that the director used his own war experience to tell his story.
I love showing the psychic conflict a teenager can go through in a totally strange country on the North .
(When Zozo tries to win Swedish friends by stealing for them).
