Review of Zorba the Greek (1964) by Andreea P — 08 Jul 2007
This movie is a lot darker than what I had expected. Anthony Quinn gives an excellent performance that dominates the film, but the work of Alan Bates is equally as strong albeit in a more subtle way. It?s worth watching for these performances alone, but for me the film leaves a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste.
