Review of Zorba the Greek (1964) by Jeff B — 19 Aug 2008
Good film with a great ensemble, especially Anthony Quinn who is so much fun as Zorba. However, I felt the film was a bit overlong and at times it seemed like not much was happening. Lila Kedrova gives a nice performance as Madame Hortense, not a bad Supporting Actress win.
The music was great and I loved the ending.
