Review of Zorba the Greek (1964) by Ouine C — 20 Jan 2008
Quinn was simply superb, I wished he really won the best actor. A black white movie for people who are more open to classic films and not just a crowd flimsy wannabe cineastes. This movie is acted superbly even the rhythm of the other actors in portraying their respective characters were well placed with property intensity, stoicism and bravado - depending on which scene.
Again, I believe Quinn should've gotten the Oscar here.
