Review of Zootopia (2016) by Steve S — 09 Aug 2016

This was so so so so damn good. I've never seen an animated movie with themes so timely, relevant, and prophetic as it pertains to current events involving law enforcement, racism, violence, and downright hate.

Oh, and the detail and creativity in crafting the city of Zootopia: Seeing how the city caters to the needs of mammals of all sizes; Marveling at the artificially-natural construction of the city; Noticing the different camera work depending on the environment.

This is the new high-water mark for animated features.
