Review of Zootopia (2016) by Phillip M — 15 Aug 2016
Boasting tremendous animation and an incredibly well-scripted adventure tale, "Zootopia" is a juggernaut of a kid's film and even more so one of Disney's best outings yet. With a mixture of buddy-cop and film noir, "Zootopia" teaches its audience, including adults, an important lesson through its story about social norms and acceptance.
Yes, it includes a very talented voice over cast with hilarious gags, but "Zootopia" will better be known as the Disney film that took serious adult issues about fear and prejudice and put them in terms for children to understand and learn how to overcome.
