Abysmal. The plot is thin to the point of transparency, the characters are stock and never fleshed out, the minimum amount of imagination has been expended, and even the jokes just aren't very funny.
Putting as much Smash Mouth on the soundtrack as money will allow does not make up for any of these things. The cast seem likeable but they're given precious little to work with, and Chase and Torn are actively bad.
It's painfully obvious this an attempt to cash in on Sky High, which surprised the hell out of me by being very good.
