I really like Tim Allen, I think Home Improvement was an excellent tv show, The Santa Clause was a perfectly fine movie (with ok sequels) so why do I feel like I've wasted my time being a fan? I've even read his books for crying out loud --- this film is about as lazy and leaden as you can get without having Steve Guttenburg in it! For a one-off viewing its alright, but if I have to see it again I may just tear my own eyes out! Come on Tim, you can do much, much better than this.
