Review of Zoom (2006) by Sean S — 12 May 2014
After a great comic-style beginning pointing in the direction of an interesting concept with rich potential, most of this film is a letdown bogged down by poor acting, bad jokes, crude humor, and again--unrealized potential.
Tim Allen's character is unappealing throughout most of the movie. The two female superheroes do have have some good scenes, but overall, it's a movie that isn't awful, but isn't extraordinary either.
The ending is fine, but most of what comes before just sits there instead of shining.
