Review of Zoom (2006) by Jeff B — 23 Nov 2015
OK, there's a sudden need for some super heroes, so the guys in officer uniforms and lab coats talk about it ... a lot. They want some young blood, but they need some vet to train them. So they contact a once famous super hero who now, guess what? has an attitude.
Yes, he's snarky and selfish and not very useful in getting the young guns trained. But guess what? He has a change of heart and all works out well in the end. Character development, dialogue, and plot all in sleeper mode.
Nothing going on here kids, move along. Nothing to see. Sleep imminent. You want family super hero fun? The Incredibles and Sky High are MUCH better offerings. My ten-year-old son didn't even care much for this one.
Sorry kids.
