Review of Zoolander (2001) by David T — 06 Nov 2013
Zoolander is a movie about a male model getting manipulated to assasinate a prime minister who is fighting against sweatshops. Mind you, this is a comedy and a riduculous one at that. Derek Zoolander has an arch rival in male model Hansel who is a Hippie.
They have a walk off in which Hansel wins by taking his underwear off with his pants still on. One of the funniest scenes in the movie is when Derek destroys a model for a children's school and says "what is this, a school for ants?" His model roommates also pass away when they partake in a random gasoline fight at a gas station and one of them smokes a cigarette.
As you can see, this is a slapstick comedy and a hilarious one at that. If you're fan of slapstick comedies, this movie should be right up your alley.
