Review of Zoolander (2001) by Peter N — 11 Aug 2012
Not as funny as the later Frat Pack films, Zoolander still shows the potential this group of actors had to create memorable comedy. This is one of the most unorthodox films I have ever seen, scoring points in the style department.
Ben Stiller is at his quirky comedic best and the addition of Owen Wilson make them a memorable comedic duo. I was a bit put off by some of the dumber moments, and the endless barrage of celebrity cameos is distracting, but Zoolander has a lot of truly great moments and the titular character is one of Stiller's greatest roles.
