Zoolander 2 is a disaster from start to finish. I was a big fan of the first film, finding it to be a clever surprise that took the stupidity seriously. It had a fun premise with equally fun characters, and it gave plenty of hilarious quotes.
But this sequel is just the absolute definition of a lazy attempt at a comedy sequel. None of the jokes land and the non stop cameos hurt my brain. And all the jokes they try and recreate in this film just didn't work.
Ben Stiller keeps true to the characters idiocy, but while it felt lighthearted and fun in the last movie now it just felt awkward and cruel.
