Review of Zoolander 2 (2016) by Dokyong T — 19 May 2016

- Yes f-ing Sir! The entire "Zoolander" entourage is back and better than ever! This time around was much funnier than the original. There was more substance to the plot which kept the audience zoned in and interested throughout the whole film.

The story line was a heartfelt and intense one that actually turned out to be pretty serious given the epic hilarity that was occurring at EVERY corner. Surprisingly, there were a few special effects tossed into the mix that were not only jaw dropping but extremely clever, to the point that it opened the door to a subtle way of intricately designing action within a scene so that the overall general idea is constructed and then utilized.

From the amazing beginning, the journey started and it did not end until the final clip, which was truly brilliant in more ways than one. With a combination of comedy genius, action-adventure that toyed with the boundaries of a dramatic spy flick, almost every genre was included in a way that blended so perfectly, all you focused on was the incredibleness that took place on the BIG screen.

I already knew that this movie would be a HUGE success and I was right. It satisfied over 10 years of waiting in anticipation and it accomplished its goal of entertaining the crap out of me. It is a sequel to a classic that brought back great memories of the first film with bits of pieces included all over that represented scenarios from scenes in the past film.

"3 Stars" for this production. It was terrific in many ways but still lacked the giant "WOW" factor that would have projected it to SUPER stardom. A most definitely "Must See" mainly because there was a presence of awe and amazement that turned out to be such a pleasant surprise which I highly enjoyed.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful franchise with lots of "Zoolanders" to premier. They sure have hit comedy gold with this one and they should just keep on milking it for the greater good of laughter.
