I gotta say, I thought this was going to be much worse, that being said it is still pretty bad! Kevin James makes a great standard performance and there are a lot of laughs to be had, but the talking animals are horrible, it is so cliched and it is animal cruelty.
The storyline I suppose isn't that bad, I mean it is so predictable, friend becoming girlfriend but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Character development is completely empty. Overall it's not dog shit, but it isn't worth your time and money unless you are a 6 year old!
