Review of Zoo (2006) by Alison P — 23 Oct 2008
I've seen tons of documentaries and this one definitely had the strangest, most unique subject matter. Some people are perhaps disturbed or annoyed by the incessant, never-ending haunting music, but the movie would probably feel too silent without it.
I thought the "victim" was neither vilified yet nor was his behavior condoned or justified. A horse rescuer gives her scoop and feelings on the situation, and in the aftermath of the, uh, incident, Washington criminalized bestiality.
About ~75 mins run time (despite what it says above), but feels like much longer.
