Review of Zoo (2006) by Ash J — 11 Aug 2010
This film is disappointing for two reasons. One, it's slow and confusing. I had a hard time figuring out who was talking when. And I have no idea why they included an interview of one of the actors right in the middle.
It added nothing to the movie, and I was baffled as to why it was included. Secondly, there's just too many unanswered questions. There's a strange absense of any talk about sexuality. Even the zoophiles just use the term "connecting with the animal.
" Well, there are ways to connect with animals without having sex with them, so why have sex with them? I'm also trying to wrap my brain around how what they did is even physically possible, and the process in which they trained themselves and the horse to do it, which was also not covered.
It's a fascinating topic, to put it mildly, I just wish the movie was better.
