Review of Zoo (1988) by Mary H — 10 Jan 2010
Interesting topic that is executed poorly. Done completely through re-enactments which were at times slow and meaningless (did I need to watch you put ice in a blender for 5 minutes?) Also there was one interview (an actor who auditioned to play cop # 2) who had no afilitation to anyone in the doc, but had a heartfelt story of the one dead body he's seen in his life.
...a little misplaced. Just cause they live in the same town does not mean you have to put their anecdotes in the movie even if it is the only true interview in the film where you can show their face.
