Review of Zone of the Dead (2011) by Rob C — 24 Oct 2011
You can find here all the stereotypes of the perfect-zombie-movie. You got the accidental zombie outbreak, you got the rookie chopped, the one who (inexplicably) knows how to stop them, the one who go nuts and become z-food, the arsenal-man, and so on.
You got all these stereotypes without the necessary special effects to support them. The zombies are only painted, coloured and they walk a bit slow, no arms severed, no chewed parts, just in a couple of occasions you see a gut and a (badly hidden) eaten arm.
That's all you got. Poor dialogues, poor combat scenes, poor everything.
