Review of Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) by Muldjord — 23 Aug 2021
Hugely entertaining and also kind of sweet. The zombie killing is kick ass, and it continues the trend of the first movie with the oddly compatible characters who have become somewhat of a family. A family of misfits to be sure, which is why they each start straggling due to doubts about what and how they want to continue their lives in Zombieland.
So that's the plot; trying to keep the family together. And I love that it isn't focused on just one of the characters wanting to go. They basically all do! So they have to go on a journey to rediscover the glue that keeps them together. And that's one helluwa ride to be part of!
I don't think there's anything about this movie I didn't like. Maybe a few scenes here and there seemed a tiny bit off. But overall, it was just a great zombie flick with some hillarious situations and a plot that kept me interested.
