Review of Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) by Jackronner — 20 Oct 2019
This wasted some great acting talent on a witless script. It had the feel of bad improv, when you hear crickets after a weak line at the club. No nifty comebacks in this script. Appropriately, it was the witless blonde played by Zoey Deutch that provides the best laughs.
And boring, unless you care for countless ways to cause blood to spurt. None of cleverness of the original, which I enjoyed very much. Puzzling, since the writers and director are the same. Very disappointing.
