Review of Zombieland (2009) by Ronald N — 31 Jan 2013
"Zombieland" falls flat like "The Campaign": with it's little character development even the cast is very selected with an act that is effectively good, script lacks intelligence with a use of lame jokes the sad thing is the story is certainly original and fast-paced; the idea of a survival guide against zombies is striking and the director knows what he wants to do with the idea and its plot, and the director knows what he wants to do with the idea and its plot with plenty of gore, although there is enough gore and balanced, without being a mess or something smooth.
However, "Zombieland" is a so-so zombie, or comedy, flick; yes the zombie subgenre is far from dead, but doesn't mean it's a marvelous movie, just acceptable and memorable.
