Review of Zombieland (2009) by Gabriel C — 08 Aug 2017
Why does Zombieland stand up from so many other zombie movies in a time when the zombie culture reached it's peaks? Because it somehow manages to turn this whole dramatic zombie apocalypse into some kind of a new beginning filled with it's own perks and positive things, and not only the wildness and brutality that we all know about.
I mean yeah, the movie might have it's own share of gruesome but unlike other zombie movies, it teaches you that it could be actually a lot of fun if only you get to "enjoy the little things". After all...how could the grief and sadness help you survive anything?
The characters are a lot of fun and besides the love story cliché, the movie is pretty good.
