Review of Zombie Strippers! (2008) by Todd S — 20 Apr 2010
2008 US Director: Jay Lee.
Score: 4.
Well, trying to start out with something positive, Robert Englund seemed to be having fun. It's too bad the fun wasn't infectious though because watching this one wasn't that fun. I'm sure it was meant to be tongue in cheek and a bit of a spoof of the genre but instead of coming off that way (fun and light) it came off as juvenile and dumb. Sorry, I just call it as I watch it. The plot is pretty weak stuff. The acting is just as weak by much of the cast. The soundtrack might as well not have been there. The effects are average stuff. They aren't too cheesy, but nothing really amazing. If none of that matters to you and you just want to see naked women in Vampire make up, then have at it. Everyone else, move on to other stuff.
